India price and dealership details
VinFast is expected to reveal the prices of both EVs in the upcoming weeks. We are expecting a price range of Rs 25-30 lakh for the VF7 and Rs 20-25 lakh for the VF6.
As far as the dealership network is concerned, the brand has formed a pact with 13 dealer groups, thus opening 32 stores across 27 cities as of now. These include the major cities like Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, etc.
Customers can now book their favourite VinFast EV by paying a token of Rs 21,000. The booking can be done via both online and offline methods.
Our verdict
While VinFast is eyeing the rapidly expanding Indian electric car market, it is struggling to make profits internationally. The Vietnam-based EV brand is focusing on expansion as of now, while the profit margins are expected to rise in the coming years.
