Key highlights

- VinFast aims to offer nationwide support for its upcoming EV lineup, including VF6 and VF7.
VinFast Auto India has officially joined hands with RoadGrid, a leading EV charging and aftersales solutions provider, to build a nationwide service and charging network ahead of its first vehicle deliveries. The Vietnamese EV maker is gearing up for a bold entry into India, and this partnership is a clear signal that it’s not here to play catch-up—it’s here to lead.
The goal? Launch 120 extended service workshops across India before the first VinFast EV rolls out to customers. That’s not just ambitious—it’s aggressive, and it’s exactly what India’s EV market needs.
What the partnership covers?
This isn’t just about plugging in chargers. The VinFast–RoadGrid alliance will deliver:
- Real-time charging access across major cities and intercity routes
- Diagnostics-driven service for faster issue resolution
- Digital integration for scheduling, updates, and remote support
RoadGrid already operates 200+ service stations and has a reputation for smart infrastructure and multibrand service capabilities. With VinFast onboard, expect a serious upgrade in how EVs are serviced and supported.
Why it matters?
VinFast is planning to launch the VF6 and VF7 in India by September 2025. These models will offer up to 450 km of range, Level 2 and Level 3 charging, and dual-motor AWD options. But none of that matters if customers can’t find a charger or get their car serviced.
That’s where this partnership comes in. It’s about building trust before selling cars—a move that many EV startups skip, and later regret.
Leadership speaks
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, summed it up: > “Our goal is to make owning an electric vehicle as effortless and reassuring as possible.”
RoadGrid CEO Deepesh Shrinath added: > “VinFast’s entry is a turning point. We’re redefining EV ownership with smart infrastructure and reliable service.”
