VinFast Limo Green coming soon to beat the Innova Hycross?
VinFast has recently entered the Indian EV market. Rather, it is yet to reveal the prices for its VF6 and VF7 in India. However, ahead of the official debut, the company has begun registering the design of the newer models.
One such new model is the Limo Green crossover. It is a 7-seater EV, which is designed with the utility of an MPV and the practicality of an SUV. The upcoming crossover has been officially homologated in India by the company.
Speaking of the details, it features a clean and sharp design with connected LED lights, flush door handles, dual-tone alloys, and more. On the inside, it offers a 2+3+2 seating layout, which is accompanied by the minimalist and futuristic cabin design.
In terms of the dimensions, it is registered 4,740mm in length, 1,872mm in width, and 1,728mm in height. These dimensional numbers are identical to the Toyota Innova Hycross. However, unlike the Hycross that offers a pure MPV outlook, the Limo Green has a combined texture of an SUV and MPV.
Powering the Limo Green is a 60.13kWh battery pack, which offers 450 km of NEDC-certified range. It can support rapid charging of up to 80kW, which can charge it 10-70% in just 30 minutes. VinFast offers three drive modes on the Limo Green, which include the Economy, Comfort, and Sport.
As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding Limo Green’s debut in India. However, the design patent hints at the future launch, which will potentially expand the brand’s portfolio in India.
Our say
VinFast is eyeing the Indian EV market with high hopes, as the brand is currently facing financial troubles in the global market due to low demand. However, a wide range of products in a versatile market like India can change the fate of the company.
