TVS Motor Company has officially launched the TVS King Kargo HD EV, a purpose-built electric three-wheeler designed to take on the challenges of urban and semi-urban cargo mobility. This launch marks a significant step in the company’s “Re-Imagine 2030” vision, where smarter, cleaner, and more connected mobility solutions are at the core.
Best-in-segment engineering
The King Kargo HD EV has been developed with practicality and durability in mind. It offers a top speed of 60 km/h, a 6.6 ft load deck with leaf spring suspension, and a ground clearance of 235 mm with the lowest loading height of 703 mm for easy cargo handling. Add to that a 500 mm water-wading capacity, and you have a vehicle built to deal with India’s unpredictable roads.
A 6-year / 1.5 lakh km warranty underscores TVS’s confidence in its engineering, while the charging time of 3 hours and 10 minutes ensures quicker turnarounds for businesses. For tight city lanes, its 3,420 mm turning radius makes manoeuvring far easier compared to conventional cargo carriers.
Smarter, safer, more comfortable
TVS has packed the King Kargo HD EV with segment-first safety and comfort features. The cabin comes with LED headlamps, rolling windows, ergonomic trims, and even a dedicated Power Gear Mode for better torque delivery under heavy loads. Visibility is enhanced with twin-axis rear-view mirrors, while Bluetooth connectivity through TVS SmartXonnect unlocks 26 smart features, making it India’s first connected cargo three-wheeler.
Fleet Advantage
Where the King Kargo HD EV truly stands out is in fleet management. Powered by TVS Connect Fleet, operators can access 31 advanced features including real-time tracking, remote asset control, alerts, intelligent dashboards, and API integration for business use. This is aimed at maximizing uptime and ensuring efficient utilization of every vehicle in the fleet.
Price and availability
The TVS King Kargo HD EV is priced at INR 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will first be available across Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, and Bengaluru, before expanding to other markets. Alongside, TVS also showcased the CNG variant, slated for launch later this year.
