To mark its 25th anniversary in India, Skoda Auto has rolled out a Limited Edition of the Kylaq, its newest compact SUV. Priced at INR 11.25 lakh for the Signature+ and INR 12.89 lakh for the Prestige variant (ex-showroom), this special edition adds a layer of exclusivity and flair to what’s already a strong value proposition in the sub-4m SUV segment.
The Kylaq Limited Edition is part of a broader celebration that includes special versions of the Kushaq and Slavia. But unlike its siblings, the Kylaq keeps things subtle and classy, focusing on clean design upgrades and functional enhancements.
Design and Features
The Kylaq Limited Edition doesn’t go overboard with styling. Instead, it adds thoughtful touches that elevate its appeal:
- 25th Anniversary badging on the B-pillar
- 360-degree camera setup for better visibility
- Puddle lamps for added convenience and flair
- Offered in seven exterior colours, giving buyers plenty of choice
While it skips the flashy red-black contrast seen on the Kushaq and Slavia Monte Carlo editions, the Kylaq’s all-black treatment, chrome accents, and clean lines give it a mature, understated look.
Powertrain and Platform
Under the hood, the Kylaq Limited Edition retains the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, producing 113 bhp and 178 Nm. It’s paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual gearbox, staying true to its driver-focused DNA.
Built on the MQB A0 IN platform, the Kylaq offers solid ride quality, good space, and proven mechanicals. It’s the most affordable Skoda in India, and this Limited Edition adds more value without inflating the price.
Exclusivity and Availability
Skoda is keeping it tight—only 500 units of the Kylaq Limited Edition will be sold across India. That makes it not just a smart buy, but also a rare one. If you’re looking for a compact SUV that stands out without shouting, this might be your moment.
