Royal Enfield has added to its Guerrilla 450 lineup with the introduction of a fresh ‘Shadow Ash’ colourway. The new dual-tone paint job blends an olive green matte tank with dark blacked-out detailing, lending the motorcycle a stealthy yet muscular vibe. It is part of the Dash variant and comes equipped with Royal Enfield’s Tripper Dash for added functionality.
Launched with a bang
The new shade wasn’t rolled out quietly. It debuted at the GRRR Nights X Underground event in Pune, organized with Tapaswi Racing. Over 3000 attendees witnessed the Guerrilla’s street spirit through drag races, drift showcases, and even rap and dance performances. Professional stunt riders like Padma Prashanth and Anish Shetty put the Guerrilla 450 through its paces, while motorsport athlete Akildas T.D. attempted to break his own drift record in front of the crowd.
Performance to match style
Underneath, the Guerrilla 450 packs the same 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Sherpa engine that powers the Himalayan 450. Tuned for spirited performance, the motor provides quick throttle response and strong mid-range torque, making it well-suited for city rides and spirited weekend runs. Combined with its muscular roadster design and premium build quality, the Guerrilla continues to position itself as a youthful yet capable machine in the mid-size segment.
Competitors and Positioning
At INR 2.49 lakh, the Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash directly rivals the likes of the Triumph Speed 400, KTM Duke 390, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. While those bikes lean more towards performance or minimalism, Royal Enfield’s roadster takes the “street muscle” route with its aggressive stance and distinct styling. The newly added colourway adds more appeal for buyers looking for something unique without stretching the budget further.
