What to expect from the 2025 Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6?

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

The cult bike manufacturer, Royal Enfield, is all set to introduce its first-ever electric motorcycle range. This will be called Flying Flea, and it will have two models – C6 and S6. The company has now released a social media teaser, which shows the C6 electric cruiser being tested in the high-altitude Ladakh region.

While the prototype design of the bike has already been showcased to the world, the test bike seen in the teaser is camouflaged. However, it is visible that the design of the C6 will be heavily inspired by the original Flying Flea motorcycle.

It is suspended over a lightweight magnesium frame, which will boost its performance and abilities. Moreover, it gets the neo-retro styling elements, including the round headlamp, round taillight, split seats with a floating-type rear seat, a round digital instrument console (similar to the Himalayan 450), grider forks, alloy wheels, and more.

Since not much is known regarding its battery specifications, we can safely assume that it will offer a real-world range of around 100 km. This is due to the use factor, as the Flying Flea electric cruiser will be made for city purposes, largely.

The expected launch timeline of the Flying Flea C6 is around November 2025, which is possible at the EICMA show. However, it will hit the roads in India sometime around late 2026.

Our say

The Flying Flea and the upcoming electric Himalayan, aka Him-E, are two main projects for the company that are likely to establish the brand among the premium electric motorcycle manufacturers. Currently, Ultraviolette is the only brand in India that offers premium performance electric motorcycles.
