Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Emerald Isle – Luxury and exclusivity
The newly introduced S 680 Edition Emerald Isle has been specifically crafted for the US car market. It is limited to only 25 units, and it features a special exterior theme and interior upgrades that enhance its luxury and exclusivity.
On the outside, it gets a two-tone metallic paint that is inspired by the Central Coast of California. It features a beautiful mix of the Mid Ireland Green and Moonlight White shades that are separated and matched with the chrome elements. Additionally, the S 680 Edition Emerald Isle gets the specifically built 21-inch forged rims to match the exterior paint.
The cabin of the Mercedes-Maybach has always been a special place, and with the Edition Emerald S 680 Isle, it has been crafted one step further in terms of luxury and comfort.
The interiors are draped in the special Light Brown nappa leather with hand-stitched details and customisation options, across the doors, seats, door pads, dashboard, and even the parcel area behind the rear passenger headrests.
The headliner is made with the quilted black Nappa leather that is further matched with the piano black and brushed aluminium highlights around the pillars and the doorpads. Moreover, each car gets the number-specific badge of “Edition Emerald Isle 1 of 25”.
Powering the new Maybach Edition Emerald Isle is the powerful 6.0-litre, V12, twin-turbo petrol engine that is mated to an AWD system and a 9-speed automatic transmission. This powerhouse generates 621 bhp of power and 900 Nm of torque.
Sadly, the Edition Emerald Isle will not make it to the Indian shores. In fact, it will be exclusive only for the US car market.
