Mercedes-Benz India has announced the first anniversary of the new long-wheelbase (LWB) E-Class, one of the country’s best-selling luxury sedans. To mark the occasion, the carmaker introduced a new Verde Silver colour option, adding to the model’s existing portfolio. Since its launch in October 2024, the E-Class LWB has quickly become the benchmark in its segment, winning nine awards, including ICOTY 2024.

New Design and Luxury Touches
The Verde Silver option is available across all three variants: E200, E220d, and E450 4MATIC AMG Line. The sedan continues to focus on spaciousness, rear-seat comfort, and advanced technology. Its seats recline up to 36 degrees and come with extendable thigh support, comfort neck pillows, and sun blinds that can be controlled via MBUX.
Technology-Led Cabin
At the heart of the E-Class cabin is the MBUX 3rd Generation Superscreen with AI-driven routines, allowing for personalized automation. The system integrates five display styles, enhanced digital interaction, and even a selfie and video camera for in-car calls. Passengers also benefit from features like a dedicated entertainment screen and a Burmester 4D Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos, powered by 17 speakers.
Powertrain Options
The E-Class LWB is offered with three engines. The E200 gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 204 hp, while the E220d’s 2.0-litre diesel delivers 197 hp and 440 Nm of torque. Sitting at the top, the E450 4MATIC AMG Line brings a 3.0-litre petrol engine making 381 hp and 500 Nm, sprinting from 0–100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Price Update with GST 2.0
Post GST 2.0 implementation, the new pricing is as follows:
- E200: INR 78.5 lakh
