Mercedes-Benz will debut the electric version of its best-selling GLC SUV on September 7 globally. The upcoming EV will feature a new era of design for the future electric cars of the brand. Read more details below.

What to expect from the Mercedes-Benz GLC EV?
The latest teaser image of the upcoming electric GLC shows a new ‘Pixelated’ front grille design. The showcased grille has 942 digital pixels that illuminate in various patterns, depending on the chosen style. Additionally, the Mercedes logo is also illuminated, with its illumination style varying by region or country.
Speaking of the GLC EV, it is based on a brand-new platform, but it will look identical to the ICE model. This new architecture supports 800V, which means it can be rapidly charged with the help of a 350 kW fast charger.
It is believed that the GLC electric will be offered with two drivetrains: RWD and AWD. The company had earlier teased the AWD camouflaged test car being tested in snow. Additionally, the single electric motor version will offer 272 bhp, while the dual electric motor version will offer 490 bhp of power.
The complete specifications are yet to be determined, but it is believed that the GLC electric will get 400 miles (650 km) or more range.
Meanwhile, its interiors will feature recycled materials with a luxurious cabin layout. It will also debut the latest version of the MB Hyperscreen (connected screen) layout with new features and wireless connectivity.
The world debut of the GLC EV is scheduled on September 7 at the Munich Motor Show 2025 in Germany. Its production will take place in Germany and China, later followed by the US facilities.
