Mercedes AMG has launched its latest sports coupe in India, called CLE53 4MATIC. The new sports coupe is powered by a 450bhp engine and features advanced technology like rear-wheel steering. Read its complete details below.

The new CLE53 4MATIC coupe is positioned above the CLE 300 in India. It features a unique design with a sloping roofline and the AMG elements, including the AMG-spec front grille, bumper lips, spoiler, body kit, 21-inch alloy wheels, brake calipers, and more.
The new CLE53 AMG is available at a price of Rs 1.35 crore (ex-showroom), and it can be had in six exterior colour options. Customers can also choose from two optional Manufaktur exterior paint options.
Powering the new AMG CLE53 is the 3.0-litre, inline-six cylinder AMG-tuned engine. This powerhouse develops 450 bhp of peak power and 560 Nm of peak torque. Being a 4MATIC model means it has an all-wheel drivetrain, which benefits from rear-wheel steering as well.
To transfer the power, it uses a quick 9-speed automatic transmission, which propels it from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Meanwhile, its top speed is 270 km/h.
On the inside, it features a double-deck dashboard design with an AMG-spec theme. The special AMG bits in the cabin include the steering wheel, carbon fibre panels, brushed aluminium inserts on the doors and dashboard, race pedals, and more.
However, it also offers practicality and luxury with its features like the panoramic sunroof, a vertical 11.9-inch driver-focused infotainment screen, wireless phone connectivity, ADAS, and more.
