Maruti Suzuki introduced its newest Arena flagship car, the Victoris, yesterday. With its debut, Victoris has become the safest Arena car of Maruti Suzuki.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris: 5-star BNCAP rating explained
With the reveal of the new Victoris, Maruti has also unveiled its safety statistics. The second mid-size SUV of the brand has already been tested by BNCAP, where it managed to score 5 stars.
In terms of the adult occupant safety, Victoris received 31.66/32 points, whereas the child occupant safety received 43/49 points. Moreover, in the side pole impact crash test, Victoris was reported as ‘Ok’ or satisfactory.
Mind you, BNCAP has crash tested all the versions of Victoris, which include the CNG, petrol, and hybrid variants. These scores are valid for the complete range as all variants have been tested thoroughly.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris safety features
All thanks to the modified Heartect platform, Victoris offers utmost safety along with the inclusion of 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, and ESP as standard safety features across its range. It also comes loaded with three-point seatbelts and an ISOFIX rear seat.
However, the talking point is the Level 2 ADAS on the top-spec ZXI+ variants. It is the first Maruti car to offer autonomous safety features. These include the adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, blind spot assist, front collision avoidance, and more.
