What is the Mahindra Vision S?
As visible in the photos, the Vision S model features a very familiar shape that we have seen on popular SUVs like the Land Rover Defender. It has a boxy design overall, which is complemented by the modern elements like the L-shaped front LED lights with horizontal LED DRLs in the front grille and the unique rectangular LED foglights.
The high stance of the Vision S is further enhanced by the roof rails, roof-mounted LED aux lights, a side jerry can holder on the rear quarter, and a ladder to climb and mount/unmount the luggage. However, it also gets a panoramic sunroof, which further adds to its modern quotient.
The rear profile also gets a butch, traditional SUV outlook with the tailgate-mounted spare wheel, vertical boot design, L-shaped LED taillights, rectangular LED foglights, rugged body cladding, and a spare wheel mount with stop brake lights. Meanwhile, it is based on the NU.IQ platform that can support all types of powertrains, including the Hybrid, ICE, and Electric.
The interiors have not been revealed yet, but we could see the futuristic design on the inside from far away. The concept model also gets the digital ORVMs that use a camera-based rear-view showcase, a feature that is generally seen on high-end cars only. Moreover, it is suspected to get a flat floor for the second row and Level 2 ADAS as well.
