When Mahindra unveiled the BE 6 Batman Edition, it was meant to be a limited run of just 300 units. But fans had other plans. The response was so overwhelming that Mahindra has now increased production to 999 units, giving more Bat-fans and collectors a chance to own a piece of superhero-inspired automotive history.
The BE 6 Batman Edition is more than just a cosmetic package. It has been positioned as a celebration of passion, individuality, and pop-culture nostalgia. While the mechanical package remains identical to the standard BE 6, the Batman Edition stands out with unique design cues, special badging, and a personalization-first approach.
Bookings and allocation process
Pre-bookings opened on 21st August, allowing fans to add the SUV to their cart and complete KYC for faster checkout. Official bookings start on 23rd August at 11 AM with a booking amount of INR 21,000. Deliveries are set to begin on 20th September 2025, a fitting tribute on International Batman Day.
Each buyer also gets to pick a badge number between 001 and 999. Interestingly, these numbers won’t be exclusive; meaning multiple customers can choose the same number. Instead of focusing on exclusivity, Mahindra is leaning into personalization and connection, letting each owner feel like they’ve got “their own Batmobile.”

The move to ramp up production underlines Mahindra’s confidence in the BE 6 lineup and its special edition strategy. It also hints at more themed editions in the future, with 2026 expected to bring more collaborations. Who knew Gotham had so many fans in India? Clearly, the Bat-Signal worked because 300 slots vanished quicker than the Batmobile in hot pursuit. Now with 999 units up for grabs, the BE 6 Batman Edition is giving more fans a shot at parking their own caped crusader in the driveway.
