Key highlights
- BE 6 Pack Two undercuts Pack Three by over INR 3 lakh without skimping on essentials
- Available with both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, offering up to 547 km range
- Prices start at INR 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most accessible BE models yet
The Mahindra BE 6 was always the more lifestyle-focused of the Born Electric range. With Pack Two, it gets a lot more attainable. The 59 kWh variant is priced at INR 21.90 lakh, while the 79 kWh version comes in at INR 23.50 lakh (ex-showroom). For perspective, the same 79 kWh Pack Three would set you back INR 26.90 lakh.
You still get the signature design—split LED DRLs, coupe silhouette, aero wheels, and the illuminated BE logos. Inside, Pack Two doesn’t look or feel watered down. It features a 17.7-inch central screen, 10.25-inch digital cluster, panoramic fixed-glass roof, Harman Kardon audio, and dual-zone climate control.
Power and performance
Both variants stick to a single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup.
- 59 kWh variant: 231 PS, 380 Nm, 450 km MIDC range
- 79 kWh variant: 286 PS, 380 Nm, 547 km MIDC range
Superfast charging gets you from 20 to 80% in under 21 minutes with a fast charger. You also get regen braking, variable-ratio electric power steering, and a tight 10m turning radius.
Pack Two vs Pack Three: What You Lose
You miss out on a few premium touches in Pack Two like the powered tailgate, 16-way driver seat with massage, flush door handles, and the HUD. ADAS is scaled down to basic features like lane assist and adaptive cruise control, instead of the full suite. You also miss out on the VISION X tech.

Our thoughts
The BE 6 Pack Two especially with the 79 kWh battery pack is the most value for money variant that you can buy in the range. It packs all the essential features, some good to have features while missing out on some features that you can definitely live without. With a price difference of almost INR 3.4 lakh you can save a whole lot of money while getting a very capable and well-equipped EV.
