Maruti’s latest entrant in the Indian market is an all-new SUV called Victoris. However, the brand aims to sell it worldwide, while the manufacturing will take place in India.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris to be exported from India
The newly launched Victoris is based on the proven Heartect platform. While Maruti will sell it through the Arena showrooms in India, the Japanese carmaker has plans to sell it in 100 countries worldwide.
Victoris has been designed as per the global market standards, and it comes loaded with all the modern features of comfort, safety, and connectivity, which make it suitable for every global market.
Additionally, the powertrains of Victoris, which are the 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre Hybrid, are already on sale in numerous car markets internationally, which further makes Victoris a suitable car for the global market.
With that said, Suzuki has been slowly shifting its global export hub from Japan to India. In fact, the brand is eyeing to spend Rs 70,000 in the next 5-6 years in India. This will include the expansion of the production facilities for the global market.
Moreover, Suzuki has recently exported the first batch of its first-ever global EV, the e-Vitara. The e-Vitara is on sale in Europe, and its deliveries are expected to start in the coming weeks. It will be launched in India early next year.
Our say
Maruti Suzuki is yet to reveal the pricing of the Victoris. The brand was waiting for the revised tax slabs under the new GST 2.0, which was announced subsequently to the launch of the Victoris.
