Lexus India has introduced the Smart Ownership Plan, a fresh initiative aimed at making luxury car ownership more flexible and accessible. Positioned under the Lexus Promise, the plan is designed for buyers who want the Lexus experience without long-term financial commitments.
Through this program, customers can own a Lexus with easy EMIs and benefit from the assured buyback option. At the end of the term, three choices are available: return the vehicle with no further obligation, retain it by paying a pre-agreed Guaranteed Future Value (GFV), or upgrade to a newer Lexus model. This eliminates concerns about depreciation and resale value, two major factors that often make luxury car ownership a stressful decision.
Target Lexus models and ownership benefits
The Smart Ownership Plan covers the Lexus ES, NX, and RX models in India. Customers opting for the plan can enjoy peace of mind with GFV communicated upfront, while also having the freedom to upgrade every 3–5 years. This flexibility ensures buyers are never stuck with an outdated model and can always access the latest design, technology, and safety features.
In addition, Lexus has already set a benchmark with its 8-year/160,000 km warranty across all new models sold since June 2024. The brand also offers its Lexus Luxury Care service packages with Comfort, Relax, and Premiere options, covering up to 8 years.
