KTM 390cc bikes get 10 10-year warranty – Details
KTM’s new warranty scheme for the 390cc range of motorcycles offers a 10-year warranty for free of cost. This scheme includes all of the 390cc motorcycles of the brand, which include the 390 Duke, 390 Adventure, 390 Enduro R, and the RC 390.
As per the details, the new warranty offer includes the standard three-year warranty and further adds four years or 1.25 lakh kilometres of warranty, whichever is earlier. This new warranty scheme is expected to boost the sales of the KTM motorcycles in India. However, this offer is valid only till August 31.
Speaking of the KTM’s profile in India, the brand has shifted its focus towards affordable bikes. The recent launch of the 160 Duke and the upcoming RC 160 are hints that the brand is desperately fighting to survive the financial crisis that it has been going through internationally.
Meanwhile, the warranty offer looks exciting, considering the fact that the high-compression bikes are more prone to failures if not taken care of properly; the extended warranty offers peace of mind for years without paying a single penny.
