Hyundai launches Creta Electric Knight Edition

Key highlights

  • Hyundai introduces the Creta Electric Knight in Excellence variants with 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs.
  • The Knight edition features all-black styling, brass interior accents, and exclusive badging.
  • Prices start at ₹21.45 lakh and go up to INR 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom), including home charger options.

Hyundai Motor India has officially expanded its Knight range with the launch of the Creta Electric Knight edition. Offered in the top-spec Excellence trims, this all-electric SUV now gets a bold, blacked-out makeover paired with premium features and two battery options.

The Knight edition builds on the success of Hyundai’s black-themed portfolio, which has already sold over 77,000 units since its debut in 2022. With the Creta Electric Knight, Hyundai is clearly aiming to turn heads during the festive season and maybe steal a few bookings from rivals in the process.

Powertrain and range

The Creta Electric Knight is available with two battery packs:

  • 42 kWh: Delivers 420 km of certified range
  • 51.4 kWh: Offers 510 km of certified range

Both variants produce 255 Nm of torque. The 42 kWh version makes 135 hp, while the 51.4 kWh variant pushes out 171 hp. That’s enough grunt to keep things lively, whether you’re navigating city traffic or cruising down the expressway.

Knight edition styling

Hyundai has gone all-in on the Knight theme. The Creta Electric Knight gets:

  • Matte Black exterior paint
  • Black alloy wheels with red brake calipers
  • Black skid plates, roof rails, ORVMs, and rear spoiler
  • Matte Black Hyundai logos and exclusive Knight badging

Inside, it’s all-black upholstery with brass highlights, sporty metal pedals, and a premium finish that feels more boutique than mass-market.

Features

The Knight edition doesn’t just look good—it’s loaded with tech:

  • Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS
  • Surround view monitor and blind-spot view monitor
  • Dashcam and rear wireless charger
  • Voice-enabled panoramic sunroof
  • Eco-leather ventilated seats
  • Foldable seatback table with device holder and retractable cupholder
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Hyundai has clearly packed the Knight with everything short of a butler.
