Hyundai Motor India has expanded its Knight Edition portfolio with the launch of the Alcazar Knight. Offered exclusively in the Signature 7-seater trim, this special edition brings a stealthy, all-black aesthetic to Hyundai’s three-row SUV. It’s the sixth model in the Knight lineup, joining the Venue, Exter, Creta, i20, and the newly launched Creta Electric Knight.
The Alcazar Knight is available with both petrol and diesel powertrains, but only with automatic transmissions. Hyundai clearly wants this one to feel premium, and it shows in the details.
Powertrain options
Under the hood, the Alcazar Knight offers two choices:
- 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (160 hp, 253 Nm) with 7-speed DCT
- 1.5-litre diesel (116 hp, 250 Nm) with 6-speed torque converter automatic
Both variants are tuned for smooth city driving and relaxed highway cruising. No manual, no nonsense.
Styling
The Knight Edition treatment transforms the Alcazar’s look:
- Matte black Hyundai logos
- Black alloy wheels with red brake calipers
- Black front and rear skid plates, roof rails, ORVMs, and side sill garnish
- Exclusive Knight badging
- All-black interior with brass accents
- Sporty metal pedals
It’s a full blackout package that gives the Alcazar a sharper, more aggressive road presence.
FeaturesÂ
Hyundai hasn’t just slapped on paint and called it a day. The Alcazar Knight also gets:
- Dashcam (standard on Signature Knight)
- Panoramic sunroof
- 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- Ventilated front seats
- Ambient lighting
- 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitor
It’s a well-rounded feature list that makes the Alcazar Knight feel like a proper flagship.
