Hero Xtreme 125R single-seat variant details
The Xtreme 125R has been a popular 125cc motorcycle in India ever since its launch last year. Hero has now updated the Xtreme 125R with a new mid-spec version that offers the practicality of a single seat. Mind you, the Xtreme 125R has been available only with a split-seat till now.
The new single-seat variant of the Xtreme 125R is priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from a new single-piece seat, the rest of the bike is unchanged. It continues to offer a semi-aggressive riding position, futuristic looks, and modern features like the LCD console, LED lights, and more.
Powering the Xtreme 125R is a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of peak power and torque. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
Speaking of the other variants, the base IBS variant of the Xtreme 125R is priced at Rs 98,425, while the top-spec ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh, both ex-showroom.
Our say
The new variant addition to the Xtreme 125R range has made the sports-commuter more practical than ever before. However, Hero has also introduced a stylish 125cc commuter recently, called Glamour X 125, which is also based on the same engine as the Xtreme 125R.
