Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Glamour X 125, and it’s not just a facelift—it’s a full-blown reinvention of the 125cc commuter segment. Priced at INR 89,999 for the Drum variant and INR 99,999 for the Disc, the Glamour X brings a bold new design, segment-first tech, and a clear message: commuting doesn’t have to be boring.
Building on the legacy of over 8 million Glamour customers, Hero has packed this bike with features that were previously unheard of in this category. Think cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, and even a panic brake alert system. Yes, on a 125cc.
Technology
The Glamour X debuts Hero’s AERA Tech (Advanced Electronic Ride Assist), which brings together four first-in-segment features:
- Ride-by-Wire for precise throttle control
- Cruise Control for effortless highway cruising
- Three Ride Modes: Eco, Road, and Power
- Panic Brake Alert to warn trailing vehicles during emergency stops
It’s also the world’s first 125cc motorcycle to offer low-battery kick-start capability, thanks to a smart solenoid valve integrated into the AERA platform.
Engine and Performance
Under the tank sits Hero’s Sprint-EBT engine, a 124.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder unit producing 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm. It features a tuned cam profile, optimized gear ratios, and a silent cam chain. The balancer shaft keeps vibrations in check, while the bass-rich exhaust note adds a touch of big-bike drama.
The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, and the bike retains a reliable kick-start option for those “just in case” moments.
Design and Features
The Glamour X looks sharp and muscular, with:
- Signature ‘H’ full-LED lighting package
- Multi-colour LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth, navigation, gear position, and ambient light sensor
- Tactile switchgear with hazard light functionality
- Wide handlebar and upright seating for all-day comfort
- Under-seat utility box with space for two phones, a tool kit, and first-aid kit
- USB Type-C fast charger and premium grab rail inspired by larger bikes
It’s available in five colour options namely, Matte Magnetic Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Metallic Nexus Blue, Black Teal Blue, and Black Pearl Red. Hero is also offering accessories like tank pads, knuckle guards, and belly pans for those who want to personalize their ride.
