What to expect from the Harley-Davidson Street?

As per the new details, Harley-Davidson has developed a new range of motorcycles built around a new platform. One of these is called Street, which the brand will position as its newest entry-level product in the global market.

The upcoming Street model will be debuted at the EICMA 2025 in November, along with the new concept models that are likely to be based on this new platform. Its price tag will be around $6,000 (Rs 5.25 lakh approximately).

Harley’s previous attempt at making an affordable and small-capacity bike was the Street 750, which was designed to become a global hit, but it failed to garner volumes for the brand before eventually being phased out.

As far as the upcoming Street is concerned, the brand is believed to have made a new platform from scratch. This time, the company is eyeing young buyers, instead of its regular customers who are on average 40 years old. Moreover, the current portfolio of the company has high-end and costly cruiser bikes only, which do not meet the sales expectations and annual profits.

Since the world has evolved, especially in the two-wheeler segment, where small and advanced bikes are the new norm, Harley will attempt its another shot at the low-capacity products to change its image globally.

Our say

The upcoming Street motorcycle will be an interesting product at this year’s EICMA. It is expected to bring a flair of change for the brand’s image and welcome new and young buyers.
