VinFast has officially opened its first showroom in India. The first outlet has been inaugurated in Gujarat, where customers will soon be taking deliveries of VF6 and VF7 EVs. Read all the details below.

VinFast EV showroom India inauguration details
The first showroom of the Vietnamese electric car manufacturer has been inaugurated in the Piplod area of Surat, Gujarat. It is a 3,000 sq. ft. facility, which will offer sales and service support to customers for the upcoming cars like the VF6 and V7.
Meanwhile, the company has also announced that it will be opening 35 dealerships across 27 major cities by the end of this year. The pre-bookings for the upcoming VF7 and VF6 EVs have already commenced via the online method.
Speaking of the product lineup, VinFast will be launching the VF7 premium electric crossover first, which will later be followed by the more affordable VF6.
The VF6 is internationally sold in two variants: Eco and Plus. The Eco variant produces 171 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque, while offering 400 km of WLTP-certified range. Meanwhile, the Plus variant offers 198 bhp and 309 Nm of power and torque, while offering 381 km WLTP range.
Meanwhile, the VF7 is also offered in two variants: Eco and Plus. The Eco variant is loaded with a front-axle single electric motor churning out 201 bhp and 310 Nm with a range of 450 km. The Plus variant is loaded with dual electric motors (AWD), offering 349 bhp and 500 Nm of power and torque, with a range of 431 km (WLTP).

While VinFast is a global EV maker, the brand has lately been struggling with low sales and declining profits. However, the Indian debut of VinFast is likely going to help the brand a lot, as it will be selling locally assembled cars.
