F1 2017: New bodywork rules

F1 bosses have announced a new framework for bodywork rules for the 2017 F1 season.

The F1 car’s length can be increased from 1400mm to 1600mm, the front tyre size is increased fromĀ 245mm to 305mm, the rear tyre size has been increased from 380mm to 405mm.The suspension rack will be increased fromĀ 1800mm to 2000m, enabling better handling. The front wingspans width will be increased to 1800mm, greatly improving aerodynamics.The rear wing will increase fromĀ 750mm to 950mm and reduced in height by 150mm.

All these changes will greatly affect the shape of the car, making it a challenging task for the designers.

All teams have to submit their plan of action by the 30th of April.
