Citroen India has officially launched the new C3X, a feature-packed evolution of its compact SUV, starting at INR 7.90 lakh for the Shine NA variant. The top-spec Shine Turbo AT comes in at INR 9.89 lakh, making it one of the most value-rich offerings in the sub-4m SUV segment.
The C3X is part of Citroen’s “Shift Into the New” strategy and brings a host of segment-first features, enhanced safety, and a more premium cabin experience, all while retaining the brand’s signature French flair.
Features
The C3X introduces several segment-first and segment-best features:
- Proxi-Sense Passive Entry & Push Start – unlocks and locks automatically when the key is nearby
- Cruise Control with Speed Limiter – a rare find in this price bracket
- HALO 360-degree camera system – with seven viewing modes
- Auto-dimming IRVM, LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, and LED DRLs
- 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Tropicalized automatic AC that cools below 14°C
- USB Type-C fast charging port, six airbags, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX, TPMS, and a perimetric alarm
Powertrain and Performance
The C3X is available with two engine options:
- 1.2L PureTech 82 NA petrol – 82 hp, 115 Nm, 5-speed manual
- 1.2L PureTech 110 turbo petrol – 110 hp, 190 Nm, 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic
The turbo variant claims 0–100 km/h in under 10 seconds and delivers an ARAI-certified 19.3 km/l.

- Two dual-tone options: Cosmo Blue/White Roof, Garnet Red/Black Roof

Optional add-ons include a 360 camera for INR 25,000 and a CNG kit for INR 93,000.
