Top 5 features of the new Hero Glamour X 125

1. Cruise Control

Introducing the first-in-segment tech, the Glamour X 125 comes loaded with cruise control. This feature is a revolutionary step as no other 125cc bike had it in India until now. It’ll benefit a lot of users who end up commuting long distances on the highway daily.

2. Ride modes

The Glamour X 125 is also the first 125cc motorcycle in India to offer three different ride modes. These modes include Eco, Road, and Power, which alter the ECU settings to offer quick acceleration or more fuel economy, whichever is opted for by the user.

3. Ride-by-wire

Another first-in-segment feature on the Glamour X 125 is ride-by-wire. This feature allows for a crispier throttle response and improves standstill acceleration and quick overtaking manoeuvres.

4. Panic brake alert

Hero has also added the ‘Panic brake alert’ system on the Glamour X 125, which alerts the rear traffic in case of hard or emergency braking situations. The rear LED taillight will start flashing under emergency braking, which will indicate to the rear traffic hazard ahead.

5. LCD instrument console

Hero has also equipped the Glamour X 125 with a new colour LCD console. This large rectangular unit offers a crisp and clear view of the important readings, which include the tachometer, speedometer, distance-to-empty, gear position, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.

Apart from these features, the new Glamour X 125 is powered by the 124.7cc unit sourced from the Xtreme 125R. It develops 11.39 bhp of peak power and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and offers a bassier exhaust note as well.

Hero is offering the Glamour X 125 in two variants: Drum (Rs 89,999) and Disc (Rs 99,999).

Our say

The new Glamour X 125 is a ground-breaking product in the 125cc commuter bike segment in India. Its tech-loaded packaging and Hero’s long-term reliability are surely going to attract a large sales volume for the brand.
