Mahindra Vision S interior details explained
As visible in the newly released interior images of the Vision S concept, it is clear that Mahindra will up its game to a whole new level. Rumoured to be the next-gen Bolero Neo, the Vision S concept interiors feature a modern and futuristic outlook, with a touch of apt luxury.
The first and most interesting change is the dashboard area, where two new digital screens are seen with new graphics and a new OS. This new OS is most likely to be called the new-gen AdrenoX, and it will feature in the future Mahindra vehicles.
Additionally, it has a new three-spoke steering wheel, which has haptic controls. This is different from the rectangular unit seen on the BE series cars. Moreover, below the infotainment screen, physical buttons can be seen clearly. These buttons will most likely offer the AC controls.
Adding to the luxury quotient of the Vision S is the big panoramic sunroof. Moreover, the concept vehicle images seem to have the ambient lights as well. The centre console area has the automatic gearshift lever that has been carried from the XUV 3XO.
Speaking of the Vision S, it is based on a brand new platform, called NU_IQ. Mahindra claims that this new platform is capable of supporting ICE, Hybrid, and Electric powertrains. Therefore, it will not be wrong to assume that the Vision S will be offered in all of the above powertrain options when launched.
The expected launch timeline of the production-spec Vision S is by late 2026.
Our say
Alongside the Vision S, Mahindra has also revealed three other SUV models in concept form. These include the 5-door version of the upcoming Thar Electric. Mahindra aims to expand in the EV SUV space in India, which is currently not crowded.
