5 unique features of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris
- Level 2 ADAS
Certainly, one of the most highlighted features of the new Victoris SUV is the Level 2 ADAS safety tech. It is the first Maruti car to be equipped with the autonomous safety features. These include the adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, blind spot assist, front collision avoidance, and more. It also comes with 6 airbags as standard across the range.
2. Dolby Atmos sound system
Maruti is branding Victoris as ‘Entertainment on wheels’ packaging. It is because the Victoris is the first Maruti to be equipped with 8 Infiniti (Harman) speakers with the Dolby Atmos support. Additionally, it gets a new 10.1-inch floating screen with OTA support and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
3. Underbody CNG tank
Maruti Victoris shares the engine and transmission with the Grand Vitara, which means it comes with a CNG option as well. However, to increase the boot’s practicality, Maruti has moved the CNG tank on Victoris underneath the boot. This ensures a practical cargo area with the economy of CNG.
4. Powered tailgate with gesture control
Another first for a Maruti Arena model is the powered tailgate on the Victoris. It is operated via a button and also comes loaded with gesture control, which takes it one step ahead of the Grand Vitara.
5. Electric seat adjustment
The Victoris also comes loaded with an 8-way power adjustable driver seat. It is the first time that a Maruti Arena car has been offered with this feature. Additionally, both front seats are fitted with ventilation on the top-spec ZXI+ variants.
Our say
The new Victoris SUV is by far the most well-equipped and tech-loaded SUV of the brand. The prices of Victoris are yet to be revealed, as Maruti seemed to be waiting for the revised GST slabs, which came in yesterday.
