BMW electric cars in India a hit? Sales skyrocketing
With the recent announcement of 5,000 electric car sales in India, BMW has also inaugurated a new electric corridor that spans over 4,000 km across the nation. This new corridor has been carefully designed by keeping in mind the coverage of all the major cities and the most used highways that connect India.
The major cities on this new electric corridor include New Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hubbali, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Madurai. On this corridor, BMW users will find a fast charger every 300 km, which will ease the long journey with an EV without worrying about range anxiety.
Moreover, to accomplish this target, BMW has collaborated with Statiq and Zeon to establish and maintain these new fast chargers. Speaking of the charger capacity, the rapid chargers will range between 120 kW to 720 kW, depending on the location. Additionally, BMW has carefully set up these chargers at places where customers can take refreshment breaks in utmost safety and comfort.
Apart from this, BMW has also successfully established 300 destination fast chargers at prime locations that include the premium hotels, shopping malls, airports, etc. The destination chargers are designed to offer a stress-free charging experience to customers while they enjoy their stay or leisure activities.
