BMW India has introduced its famous 50 Jahre Edition badge to the popular 3 Series sedan. The new edition is now available nationwide for pre-bookings, and it is loaded with special cosmetic changes. Read all the details below.

BMW 3 Series LWB 50 Jahre Edition: All details explained
BMW has launched the new 50 Jahre Edition 3 Series LWB models in India to celebrate the completion of 50 years of the sedan being in production. The new 50 Jahre Edition 3 Series is available for the 330i M Sport and the M340i models, and both cars are limited to a handful of 50 units.
Speaking of the prices, the M340i 50 Jahre Edition has been priced at Rs 76.90 lakh, whereas the 330i M Sport 50 Jahre Edition is priced at Rs 64 lakh, both ex-showroom.
330i M Sport 50 Jahre Edition details
The entry-level 330i M Sport, which is often regarded as a more forgiving 3 Series made for luxury, gets the 50 Jahre Edition that offers cosmetic changes. It is loaded with the new piano black exterior trim, including the front kidney grille, bumper accents, ORVMs, rear diffuser, and tailpipes. It also gets the ‘1 of 50’ special badge on the B-pillar to signify the special edition.
It is available in three metallic exterior paint options: Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, and M Carbon Black.
Meanwhile, the cabin of the 50 Jahre Edition 330i has been updated with the carbon fibre trim, a new HUD, and a 3D augmented navigation for the infotainment and speedometer console. It remains powered by the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 258 bhp and 400 Nm.
M340i 50 Jahre Edition details
Meanwhile, the M340i, which is fondly loved by enthusiasts worldwide for its sports car-like performance, gets the special 50 Jahre Edition that offers the ‘1/50′ special badge on the B-pillars, ’50 Jahre’ emblems on the front and rear, as well as on the hubcaps.
Moreover, the M badges on the fender and boot have been blacked out. It is available in four colour options, which include Dravit Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red Metallic, and Arctic Blue.
The cabin has been updated with the new Vernasca leather upholstery, which is matched with the carbon fibre elements and the black M-badges on the seats and the steering wheel. To make the customers feel extra special, BMW India is also gifting a 1:18 scale model of the BMW 3.0 CSL.
Powering the M340i 50 Jahre Edition is the same 3.0-litre, inline six turbo-petrol engine that offers 374 bhp and 500 Nm of power and torque.
