As bikers, we wish to stop at nothing, no matter what terrain. We’ve seen bikers scorch canyons and raid Mountains, but water is one place we can’t enter. But there’s no stopping the folks at Gibbs Sports Amphibians Inc, say hello to the ‘Biski’. An amphibian motorcycle that can ski through water, thus the name ‘Biski’ – Bike+ski
The company is also in the process of making a quadski-amphibian ATV, Triski-amphibian trike and a Terraquad-an even bigger amphibian ATV, all for commercial use.
This Biski is a pretty powerful machine. The company claims to churn out a good 55bhp on water to keep the front airborne. The cost of the machine is not disclosed yet and the company is looking for dealers to market its products.
Although the concept will never replace the fun of conventional motorcycling.. It can definitely be a great tool for recreational fun.
