Ather Halo helmet: Prices dropped
Ather’s Halo helmet range is offered in two variants: Halo Bit (half-face) and Halo (full-face). Introduced last year, the Halo helmet featured wireless charging and wireless smart connectivity. However, it was priced at Rs 9,999, which seemed a bit overpriced.
The good news is that Ather has now dropped the pricing to just Rs 2,999. The latest price cut was announced at the Community Day. The Halo Bit is now positioned at Rs 2,999, while the Halo full-face is priced at Rs 4,999. This price cut is nearly 50% of the previous pricing.
However, with the reduced prices, the Halo helmet has lost its wireless charging feature. It is now replaced by the traditional USB Type-C charging port. Meanwhile, the rest of the features remain unaltered.
The Halo helmets come equipped with built-in speakers, a microphone, and wireless connectivity access with Ather scooters. Users can access music, answer calls, access audible texts, and even watch live cricket match scores with the latest Ather Stack 7 operating software update. Other features include: Navigation access, pothole alerts, and tow-away zone alerts.
The Halo helmet range is available in three colourways and various head sizes. These helmets are ISI-certified, which makes them safe as per norms.

The new price drop of the Halo helmets from Ather is a positive move towards two-wheeler safety. Customers can not only enjoy their favourite music, but also afford smart safety tech now at a reasonable price tag.
