Ather Energy has introduced a new version of the 450S electric scooter, which is equipped with the same battery and range as the top-spec 450X. Read its complete details below.

Ather 450S 3.7 kWh variant complete details
The newly introduced 450S variant gets a 3.7 kWh battery pack, which was earlier available only on the 450X model. With the help of this new variant, the EV maker has closed the gap between the 450S 2.9 kWh variant and the 450X 3.7 kWh variant, in terms of pricing and positioning.
Speaking of the specifications, it gets the same 5.4 kW electric motor as the 450S, which delivers 22 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, it now offers an IDC-claimed range of up to 161 km. The 0-100 km/h is achieved in a claimed 3.9 seconds.
Meanwhile, the 450S 3.7 kWh version is equipped with all the bells and whistles. It offers a 7-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, AtherStack Pro software compatibility, auto-dimming instrument console, and more. Additionally, it can be charged 0-80% in 4.5 hours at home by using an AC wall charger.
Styling-wise, it remains identical to the other 450S variants. Some of its key design highlights include the sharp panels, LED lights, petal disc brakes, alloy wheels, and a high-quality fit and finish. Moreover, it also gets four riding modes: Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport.
At Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), the new 450S finds a perfect balance for buyers wanting a scooter with long range and affordable pricing. Its primary rivals include the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak.
