BMW cars to get pricier soon
If you are planning to buy a BMW car soon, this is the right time, as the company has announced that a new price hike is coming soon. As per the details, the complete product lineup of BMW in India will witness a price revision, which will hike the prices by up to 3% starting from September 1.
The company has cited that the continuous pressure from the high foreign exchange rates, rising input material costs, and the tariff war has led to the upcoming price hike for all the models. All of these factors have led to the increased logistics and materials costs involved in the operations.
As of now, BMW sells 10 various cars in India, which include the likes of sedans, SUVs, and electric cars like the MINI and the i7. The price hike will be implemented for all of these models, including the MINI brand as well.
The new price revision will be the third price hike of BMW in 2025. Earlier this year, the company increased the prices in January and April for its complete lineup.
Our say
While the luxury carmakers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz are continuously increasing the prices of their cars by citing the increased input costs, the luxury car sales in India are on a boom, especially in the FY2025.
