Launched in 2005, the Innova came as a successor to the old Qualis MPV. While Innova was already a hit product in the South Asian car markets like Thailand and Indonesia, its success in India has defeated every other market’s sales.

Since its launch, the Innova has seen one big generational change in 2016, when the Innova Crysta was launched. Later, the company expanded Innova’s brand portfolio by adding the Hycross model to it, which is currently one of the top-selling 7-seater cars in India.

But what is it that makes the Innova so popular in an SUV crazy market like India? The primary reason is the undefeated reliability of Toyota’s impeccable engineering and quality standards.
