Oben launches Rorr EZ Sigma at INR 1.27 lakh

Key highlights

  • Priced at INR 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), available in two battery variants with up to 175 km range
  • Adds reverse mode, 5-inch TFT display with navigation, and smartphone alerts
  • Powered by LFP battery tech with faster charging and longer lifecycle

Oben Electric has launched the Rorr EZ Sigma, its latest electric motorcycle, at an introductory price of INR 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The Sigma builds on the Rorr EZ platform but adds meaningful upgrades that make it more tech-savvy and rider-friendly.

The bike is available in two battery options—a 3.4 kWh pack with 140 km IDC range, and a 4.4 kWh pack offering 175 km IDC range2. Both variants deliver a top speed of 95 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds, powered by a 7.5 kW motor that churns out 52 Nm of torque.

New features

Oben has added a 5-inch full-colour TFT display with built-in navigation, trip meter, and real-time alerts for calls, messages, and music2. The bike also gets a Reverse Mode, making tight parking spots less of a headache.

Other updates include:

  • Redesigned ergonomic seat for better comfort
  • Three ride modes: Eco, City, Havoc
  • Fast charging: 0–80% in 1.5 hours
  • Combi Braking System and 7-step adjustable rear monoshock
  • 200 mm ground clearance and 230 mm water-wading depth

Battery Tech that’s built for India

The Rorr EZ Sigma uses LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, which offer 50% better heat resistance and twice the lifecycle compared to conventional NMC batteries. Oben is one of the few OEMs in India to adopt this tech, making the Sigma more reliable in harsh conditions.

Buyers also get access to the Oben Electric App, which includes:

  • GPS tracking and geo-fencing
  • Remote diagnostics and anti-theft alerts
  • Charging station locator and ride analytics

Pricing and availability

The 3.4 kWh variant is priced at INR 1.27 lakh, while the 4.4 kWh version costs INR 1.37 lakh. After the introductory period, prices will rise to INR 1.47 lakh and INR 1.55 lakh respectively. Bookings are open at INR 2,999, and deliveries begin August 15, 2025.
