Suzuki Motorcycle India has added a splash of boldness to its sporty 125cc scooter, the Avenis, with the launch of a new dual-tone colour—Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2 / Glass Sparkle Black. This new shade joins the existing palette of Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, and Glossy Sparkle Black, giving Gen-Z riders another reason to flaunt their style.
The Avenis has always been positioned as a street sport scooter, and this new colour only amplifies its edgy persona. With sharp body lines, split grab rails, and bright LED lighting, it’s built to turn heads at every traffic signal.
Performance meets practicality
Under the skin, the Avenis continues to be powered by a 124.3cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Suzuki’s Eco Performance (SEP) tech ensures a balance between zippy performance and fuel efficiency.
The scooter also packs in everyday convenience:
- Digital instrument console
- USB charging socket in the front box
- External hinge-type fuel cap
- 21.8-litre under-seat storage
- Telescopic front suspension and Combined Brake System (CBS)
- Side stand interlock for added safety
Ride connect edition: Smarter on the go
The Ride Connect Edition adds smartphone connectivity via Suzuki’s app, allowing riders to access turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, and more. It’s priced at INR 93,200 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Standard Edition comes in at INR 91,400.
Suzuki is also offering 100% loan options and no hypothecation through select financiers, making ownership easier. As part of the Suzuki Riding Fest, buyers stand a chance to win gifts on purchasing any Suzuki two-wheeler.
Our thoughts
The new colour bold without being loud, sporty without trying too hard. The Avenis already had the bones of a great urban scooter, and this update just adds more personality. If Suzuki throws in a Bluetooth helmet and a matching riding jacket next, I might just start calling it the best-dressed scooter in town.
