Inside the cabin, the XC60 facelift is now offered with a new trim with dual-tone Nappa leather upholstery. Additionally, it now gets an 11.2-inch vertical touchscreen that is powered by Google. The new infotainment screen uses a fast-processing Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

Meanwhile, it is loaded with a panoramic sunroof, a new updated 1410W Bowers and Wilkins 15-speaker music system, and a new 12.3-inch digital driver console with navigation display support.

Mechanically, the new XC60 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that is mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system. It develops 250 bhp and 360 Nm of power and torque, which is transferred via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Safety features on the new XC60 facelift include the Level 2 ADAS, 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill-hold assist, and more. The primary rivals of the new XC60 facelift are the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and the Mercedes-Benz GLC.

Our say

The new XC60 SUV offers a refreshing appeal with new interior features, which cumulatively make it more plush than ever. However, it is already very outdated, and Volvo is not planning to bring a new-gen model because of the future electrification of the brand.
