In a move that blurs the line between virtual thrill and real-world innovation, Mahindra Electric and KRAFTON India have teamed up to bring the BE 6 electric SUV into the universe of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). This isn’t just a skin drop or a promo, it’s a full-blown crossover that puts Mahindra’s futuristic EV right into the hands of millions of gamers.
Starting January 16, 2025, BGMI players could explore, race, and battle with the BE 6 in-game, unlocking exclusive gear like the Quantum and Chrono Charge suits, Volt Tracer Gun, Neon Drop BE 6 parachute, and even a Flashvault BE 6 backpack.
From virtual to reality: A one-of-one BE 6 giveaway
The real twist? Mahindra and KRAFTON offered players a chance to win a real BE 6, wrapped in a BGMI-inspired livery. Contestants had to complete in-game missions, collect “Nitro Wheels,” and post a short video showcasing the BE 6 in BGMI using the hashtags #BGMIxMahindra and #UnleashTheCharge.
On July 24, 2025, Mahindra handed over the keys to a custom BE 6 to contest winner Mia Joseph at Eram Motors, Thrissur. The SUV featured exclusive design touches like a “Lone Survivor” rear badge, in-game decals, and a KRAFTON BGMI logo on the boot and doors.
Digital buzz and cultural impact
The campaign wasn’t just a marketing stunt—it was a pop-culture moment. Over 400 million digital impressions flooded Instagram and YouTube. More than 600,000 engagements came from reels, posts, and influencer shoutouts. The BE 6 became the most talked-about virtual ride in BGMI’s history.
This crossover also marked a shift in how brands engage with India’s 230-million-strong gaming community. It wasn’t about selling a car—it was about building a story that gamers could live, share, and drive.
