Porsche has unveiled the updated Macan EV in the US car market with new AI-assisted features like gaming support for entertainment. Read its complete details below.

2026 Porsche Macan Electric: Everything you need to know
The 2026 Macan EV has received the latest update in the form of digitalisation and modern connectivity improvement with AI-assisted features. The key areas that have undergone significant improvements include parking and reversing, payload capacity, in-car entertainment, charging support, and voice commands.
The gaming console support comes with the new AirConsole software that is available on Porsche’s Apple Centre. By using it, customers will be able to access and play video games through the central and passenger infotainment screens. European customers will get the Pac-Man game by the end of this year. Moreover, only the front passenger can play games, while Porsche’s new privacy technology stops the driver from getting distracted when the car is on the move.
A new digital key has also been added that eliminates the use of a physical key. Customers will be able to use their connected/registered phone as an NFC key to access features like lock/unlock, start/stop, and more.
Additionally, to improve the drivability, two new AI-assisted features have been embedded. These include a Trained Parking system that offers automated parking by scanning the nearby area and manoeuvring tight spaces and obstructions automatically. Moreover, the Reversing Assist remembers and retraces the path and automatically reverses the car in situations like reaching a dead end with no space to U-turn the car.
Porsche has also updated the Voice Pilot (voice command) system with AI-assistance. The new AI-assist automatically detects the casual conversational tone and customises the comfort and convenience features as per it.
The Charger Planner software has also been updated to offer a more streamlined route planning for long journeys by showing the preferred charging locations and suggesting the most trusted and reliable charging partners and their locations nearby.
