Earlier this year, Jeep revealed its plan to reintroduce the Cherokee moniker in the US and other prominent markets. Now, the brand has taken the cover off the new-gen Cherokee model.
While the exterior images were released a few weeks ago, the interior details and the engine specifications are now out. On the inside, it features a modern dashboard design with a 10.25-inch digital driver console and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.
Moreover, it gets the latest design steering wheel, which is expected to be equipped on future Jeep models. The spacious cabin of the Cherokee is loaded with the latest features. Some of these are as follows:

Powering the new Cherokee is the new-gen platform that supports a hybrid powertrain. The Cherokee uses a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid engine that develops 213 bhp and 312 Nm of power and torque.
It uses a combination of two electric motors placed on each axle, which provide the power assist to all four wheels as per the driving conditions. With the help of the hybrid power, the new Cherokee can cover more than 800 km in a single tank of fuel.
Jeep has also equipped the Cherokee with the Jeep Active Drive 4X4 system. Additionally, it gets four traction modes – Auto, Sport, Snow, and Mud/Sand.
Jeep has announced that it will reveal the official pricing of the Cherokee in the US by the end of this year. The deliveries of the top-spec variants are slated for early 2026. However, it is unlikely that the Cherokee will be launched in India.
