2025 Yezdi Roadster debuts with new updates and customisation options

Key highlights

  • Powered by the new 350 Alpha2 engine with 29PS and 30Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox
  • Offers segment-first modular seating and over 50 customisation combinations
  • Priced from INR 2.09 lakh, backed by a 4-year/50,000 km warranty and optional 5-year maintenance plan

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the 2025 Yezdi Roadster, a bold new take on the classic cruiser, starting at INR 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom). With its rebellious “Born Out of Line” design philosophy, the Roadster blends retro charm with modern engineering, and throws in a level of customisation that’s unheard of in its segment.

The Roadster features a sculpted fuel tank, chopped rear fender, wider rear tyres, and the iconic twin-barrel exhausts that deliver those unmistakable Yezdi pops and bangs. The bold ‘69’ decals and Faravahar insignia add heritage and attitude in equal measure.

Engine and Performance

At its heart is the new 350 Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine, producing 29PS and 30Nm. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist & slipper clutch, making gear shifts smooth whether you’re crawling through traffic or cruising down the highway.

The Roadster is built for long rides, with a 12.5-litre fuel tank offering a claimed range of over 350 km. The centre-forward footpegs and relaxed riding triangle make it comfortable for hours in the saddle, without compromising on handling.

Segment-first customisation

This is where the Roadster really breaks the mould. Riders can choose from six factory-backed custom kits and over 50 plug-and-play combinations, including:

  • Modular seating: switch between solo bobber and dual touring seat in minutes
  • Adjustable handlebars: hydroformed or wide straight bars
  • Touring visors and headlight cowls
  • Twin-rod crash guards with sliders
  • Rear racks, backrests, and multi-functional blinkers

The Shadow Black premium variant (INR 2.25 lakh) adds stealthy matte black paint, blacked-out trims, and blinkers that double as taillights.

Braking, suspension, and warranty

Braking is handled by 320mm front and 240mm rear discs, paired with Continental dual-channel ABS. Suspension duties are managed by telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks, tuned for comfort and stability.

Seat height is a friendly 795mm, and ground clearance is optimised for both accessibility and road presence.

The Roadster is covered under the Jawa Yezdi BSA Ownership Assurance Programme, which includes:

  • 4-year/50,000 km standard warranty
  • Optional coverage up to 6 years
  • One year roadside assistance
  • Service support at nearly 450 touchpoints across India
