Key highlights
- New TFT display with Honda RoadSync and updated rear suspension
- Euro5+ compliant engine retains performance while improving emissions
- India launch not unlikely as Honda already has one ADV scooter in the form of the X-ADV
Honda has officially pulled the wraps off the 2025 ADV 350, and while it doesn’t scream “all-new,” it quietly refines what was already a solid adventure scooter. Unveiled in Europe and Malaysia, the updated ADV 350 now features a five-inch full-colour TFT screen with Honda RoadSync. Riders can now access navigation, calls, and music directly from the dash finally, some tech that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
The rear suspension gets a remote preload adjuster, making it easier to dial in comfort whether you’re solo or hauling a pillion with dreams of Ladakh. Honda also added auto-cancelling indicators, under-seat lighting, and a USB-C port up front. These aren’t headline-grabbers, but they make everyday riding smoother.
Same engine, cleaner output
Mechanically, the ADV 350 sticks to its 330cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 28.8hp and 31.5Nm. The real upgrade is under the skin. Honda tweaked the ECU, added an O₂ sensor, and revised the muffler internals to meet Euro5+ norms2. So yes, it’s cleaner, but still packs enough punch for city commutes and weekend escapes.
The scooter continues to ride on USD front forks and twin rear shocks, with disc brakes at both ends. It rolls on a 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheel, and offers a generous 48-litre under-seat storage—enough for two full-face helmets and maybe a snack stash.
India launch: A real possibility?
While Honda hasn’t confirmed anything officially, multiple sources suggest an India launch could be possible. Experts suggest that the pricing will be around INR 2.99 lakh, which positions it as a more accessible alternative to the X-ADV, currently priced at INR 11.90 lakh. That’s a massive gap, and the ADV 350 could fill it nicely.
The real question is whether Indian buyers are ready for a premium adventure scooter. With growing interest in urban touring and maxi-scooters, the timing might just be right.
