New Hero Glamour X 125 – What to expect?
As seen in the leaked images, the new Glamour X 125 is going to offer a completely revised styling and new features. The LED headlight has been separated by the X-shaped headlamp garnish, which also houses the LED DRLs on both sides.
Meanwhile, the fuel tank image shows a reshaped tank with new shrouds and a matte grey colour with the new Glamour X logo on the tank. Additionally, the leaked images showcase the new LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it gets a new switchgear and a cruise control function on the right side of the switchgear, which is first in the segment.
While the Glamour X 125 will offer a redesigned outlook and a younger appeal to the old moniker, it is likely to be based on the current Glamour’s platform. Therefore, it will get the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 10.7 bhp of power and 10.6 Nm of torque.
Hero will officially unveil the new Glamour X on August 19. We suspect that it will be priced around the Rs 1 lakh mark, and it will compete with the newly launched Honda CB 125 Hornet.
Our say
The Hero Glamour 125 has been a hit product in the 125cc commuter bike class. It is known for its fuel economy, durability, and ease of repair. The new Glamour X will be an advanced version of it, which is likely to focus on the young buyers.
